This role supports Government missions by planning and executing authorized cyber tests and penetration activities. The role conducts red team-style operations in live, lab, range, and cloud environments; analyzes and reports test results; collaborates with government, industry, and academia on tools and capabilities; and provides recommendations to improve current and future cyber test objectives, all while maintaining strict system safety and operational security.
Required Skills
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), equivalent, or higher certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing any combination of penetration testing, red teaming, or exploitation development.
- Proficient in at least two operating systems, to include Windows, Linux, or Unix variants.
- Proficient in at least one of the following offensive tools: Metasploit, Cobalt Strike. Core Impact
- Independently operate to conduct penetration testing/red teaming under the guidance of a senior or mid red team operator to accomplish assigned test objectives.
- Independently generate red team report documents.
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI Eligible
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in relevant field
- Formal training or certification(s) IT and cyber security
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Prior Navy Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) experience
