Description
This role provides independent cybersecurity assessment and validation for Government IT systems. Serving as a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV), the role conducts comprehensive RMF assessments of management, operational, and technical security controls, identifies vulnerabilities, evaluates risk posture, and applies Navy A&A guidance to support timely system authorization and continuous improvement of the Navy's cybersecurity and operational security posture.

Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years' experience as an NQV.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and familiarity with DoD Application and Database Management System (DADMS), along with a thorough understanding of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls.
- Clearance: TS/SCI Eligibility
Desired Skills
- Formal training or certification(s) in cyber security
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Prior Navy Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) experience
