Administrative Assistant
Ocean Bay, LLC., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, has an opening for a highly motivated Law Clerk located in Arlington, VA.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to provide administrative and legal research support. The ideal candidate will assist with reviewing legal and administrative materials, conducting research, and drafting documents to support ongoing cases, internal reviews, and compliance activities. The Law Clerk will perform a wide range of administrative, office and professional support activities.
Position Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of tasks and related activities at the direction of judges and will receive supervisory review.
• Provide legal services to include researching legal issues related to client's mission, drafting legal products based on that research that is consistent with past Agency decisions, and serving as a courtroom clerk during formal hearing sessions conducted by Administrative Law Judges (ALJ).
• Prepare administrative enforcement actions for hearing, including reviewing administrative case files, preparing summary materials, and drafting, reviewing and revising procedural orders, and other legal documents for content accuracy, citation accuracy, grammatical correctness and readability.
• Ability to produce clear, concise written materials. Selected candidates may be asked to submit a writing sample as part of the hiring process.
• Handle all exhibits and perform court clerk duties at formal hearings, arrange prehearing conferences, and be responsible for the logistical details associated with contested litigation.
• Assist the Judge with all administrative aspects related to litigation, travel, cases management, and accountability.
• Prepare drafts of formal judicial opinions or recommended decisions to be issued by the Judge, making substantive, procedural, and evidentiary recommendations with respect to issues presented in each case including synthesizing and evaluating the legal and factual arguments offered by the parties.
• Provide administrative support by answering e-mails, receiving telephone calls and visitors, and serving as the Judge's conduit for communication with the parties regarding logistical issues.
• Provides expert scholarly advice, and consultation to projects and professional co-workers.
• Apply expert and highly specialized knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze data, and develop conclusions, recommendations and strategies.
• Exhibits expertise in performing a specialized job, task or skill.
• Possesses greater-than-normal expertise or insight relative to a particular technical or operational discipline, system, or process, and has been selected or appointed to use such expertise to solve a particular problem.
• Assists project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in specialty areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience, culminating in current role as a senior technical/business professional who acts as an adviser in complex and critical client projects.

- Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint management and computer software programs.
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Possess knowledge of applying analytic methodologies and principles to address program needs.
