Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field; Masters Degree is a plus
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations—preferably within aerospace, defense, or high tech manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency with Deltek Costpoint; ability to serve as a system expert and support scaling of Costpoint-driven processes.
- Hands-on experience supporting production ramp-ups, high-mix/low-volume manufacturing, or complex hardware build environments.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, build models, and create actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of MRP, inventory management, BOM accuracy, and lead-time planning.
Nice to haves, but not required:
• Experience in the aviation industry primarily UAS, drones, UAVs,
• Understanding of FAA and/ or FCC compliance

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to sit onsite in Churchville, MD. In this role, you will lead daily supply chain analysis across manufacturing, inventory management, procurement, and materials planning to support our rapid production ramp-up. You’ll develop and refine scalable processes, analytical models, and dashboards to strengthen forecasting, improve inventory visibility, and optimize production planning. As the in-house Costpoint SME, you will drive system accuracy and efficiency by enhancing workflows, reporting, and data integrity. Your day-to-day work includes monitoring supply chain KPIs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions that improve throughput and delivery performance. You’ll partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, finance, and program teams to align on requirements, schedules, and priorities. You’ll conduct root cause analyses for supply chain challenges, implement corrective actions, and maintain rigorous tracking and data integrity to support both government and commercial program deliverables. Additionally, you’ll provide mentorship and help build supply chain knowledge across the organization, ensuring teams have the tools and insights needed to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exact pay will vary based on candidates level of experience in supply chain management, operations, and experience with Cost Point, but we expect to pay 140K - 160K for this role.
