Job Description
We are seeking a Knowledge Manager to serve as a member of a Change Management team. This role is onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado supporting the Department of Defense with limited travel requirements. The Knowledge Manager supports government programs by developing, maintaining, and enhancing the processes and tools that enable effective knowledge capture, organization, and dissemination across the enterprise. As a core member of the Change Management Team, this role ensures that mission‑critical information is structured, accessible, and aligned with ongoing transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will:
- Create and manage knowledge articles using BMC Remedy
- The knowledge articles being managed will have a variety of topics, including technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a variety of technology areas
- Currently we also utilize SharePoint but intend to move the knowledge base fully into Remedy
- Identify gaps in the knowledge base and help write out the missing knowledge
- Work with the teams to create training for the various areas as well as self-help options
Qualifications:
- Must have 1+ years of directly related experience
- Must have experience with BMC Remedy or Microsoft SharePoint
- Must have a basic understanding of technical domains
- Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an ITIL Certification
- Have technical knowledge in Networks, Applications, Unified Communications, Servers, or Cloud
- Have technical writing experience
- Have leadership experience
