Description:This position is responsible for developing and executing the global sustainment strategy to maximize growth outcomes in the Indo-Pacific region. The candidate will be responsible for leading key, critical GBDS global sustainment activities and leading coordination to deliver on the OneLM regional sustainment strategy in the Indo-Pacific region. In addition, the GBDS Senior Manager of Global Sustainment will achieve customer satisfaction through the development of strategic solutions, recommendations for investment, and development of business cases to drive cross-LM consolidated sustainment strategies. They will use existing LM assets, drive partnerships / consortiums / ventures, and leverage our international footprint in the Indo-Pacific region. This Senior Manager will report to the Director of Global Sustainment and will work closely with the sustainment experts across the Business Areas.
Duties / Responsibilities:
• Responsible for integrating cross Business Area (BA) global sustainment capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region, in partnership with the BAs and Enterprise Operations (EO).
• Provide direct guidance to the Industrial Development (ID) team to leverage ID funds across BAs to implement the Indo-Pacific regional sustainment strategy, bolstering future platform sales.
• Assess, evaluate, and facilitate process improvement efforts to maximize partnership and/or investment outcomes.
• Ensure disciplined systems engineering principles are established and utilized globally to achieve "best in business" sustainment operations.
• Interface with EO, programs, functions, and suppliers to ensure fulfilment of needs, achievement of customer satisfaction, and growth.
• Provide strategic guidance to facilitate the development of sustainment capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region in support of new business growth and business retention.
• Support the program Sustainment functional operations across GBDS in Indo-Pacific
• Nurture collaborative relationships with the customer community across Indo-Pacific.
Key Business Objectives:
• Fully support and assist the Director of Global Sustainment in implementing a regional Sustainment strategy in the Indo-Pacific region to facilitate growth and protect our existing business in the region.
• Facilitate discussions as OneLM, across functions and BAs to help shape strategic partnerships and / or investments.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with executives in the identification of their requirements, seeking full-range business solutions for new and existing relationships.
Must have the ability to be able to travel internationally
Basic Qualifications:
• Significant experience in sustainment, program management, industrial participation, engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of business growth, leading complex initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals through influencing, partnering and developing productive relationships with leaders and staff in BAs and functions in a matrixed organization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, engendering trust and sustained relationships.
• Demonstrated knowledge in business, political, economic, and international government affairs.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $131,500 - $231,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
