📍 Location: 441 G Street NW, Washington, DC (Company vehicle provided)
💼 Contract: T&M Contract supporting the U.S. Government Accountability Office
💰 Pay Range: $30.00 – $48.00/hour (Based on experience and role fit)
🕒 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)
About the Role:
We are seeking an Electronic Systems Security Technician to join our team supporting a large, 7-story federal building. This role involves installation, preventative maintenance, and corrective action for security systems, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Closed-Circuit Video (CCV). You’ll also integrate these systems to ensure efficient monitoring of facilities, personnel, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain security field and headend equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and corrective actions
Work with Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCV systems
Interpret blueprints and building plans for system integration
Requirements:
✔ Active Top Secret Clearance
✔ Ability to obtain Software House C*CURE 9000 Certification within 90 days (Company covers coursework and testing fees)
✔ High School Diploma or equivalent
✔ 3+ years of experience in security systems installation
✔ Working knowledge of:
Software House C*CURE 9000
Bosch Video Management System
Bosch Intrusion System
✔ Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass federal background check, MVR, and drug screen
✔ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on-site
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Experience on federal, military, or government contracts
Certifications in CCURE 9000, Hirsch/Identiv, Lenel, Bosch VMS, Honeywell Vindicator
Familiarity with Video Management Systems (Milestone, AXIS)
Device programming experience
