Serve as a Linux Systems Administrator
Review architecture and design to create safe and efficient build processes
Provide Tier 2 technical support
Provide engineering expertise across a diverse set of engineering topics
Review networks and understand network flows
Build out datacenter architectures through trial-and-error cycles
Successful candidate will be expected, that armed with the internet, you can:
Independently identify things you do not know
Teach yourself and come back with answers
Understand things such as:
Out of band management networks
Management interfaces
Patch cycles, etc.
Qualification:
2+ years of Tier II systems engineering experience specifically in:
An on-prem environment
Containerization (Docker)
Kubernetes (Openshift)
Linux (RHEL)
Proficient in Python, or Java programming
Experience building out datacenter architectures from scratch
No cloud tools
Nothing built already
Strong understanding of networking
Familiarity/experience with the following is preferred:
Dell PowerScale
Keycloak
Active directory
PKI infrastructure
