Our client is currently seeking a SLP around the Olympia, WA area!

Position Details
  • Part‑time (two days per week)
  • Caseload: 34 students
  • Assignment Dates: 01/05/26 - 06/18/26
  • Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Lunch: 30 minutes
  • Classification: SLP / SLPA
  • Level: Elementary School
  • Contract Length: 24 weeks


SLP / SLPA Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines.
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate, timely records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, therapy materials, and communication supports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and service recommendations.

Clearance Requirements
  • Current state license, certification, or diploma from an accredited program, with renewals as required
  • Primary source verification of license, certificate, transcripts, or education, with renewals as required
  • CPR certification (online accepted for applicable roles), renewed per certificate guidelines
  • Required professional training based on role and specialty, including:
    • Suicide Prevention Training (all staff)
  • Fingerprinting: Washington State Patrol (WSP) and FBI; renewed every two years
    • This School District will confirm clearance and notify Sunburst
  • Washington State Patrol (WSP) WATCH background check
  • Background check completed within 12 months prior to start (federal and state, last 7 years)
  • Sex Offender Registry search within 12 months prior to start
  • OIG check within 12 months prior to start
  • GSA check within 12 months prior to start
