Senior Level Geospatial Analyst
Location: Offutt Air Force Base, NE
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Level Geospatial Analyst to join our team at Offutt Air Force Base. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in geospatial analysis, data interpretation, and geospatial intelligence to support mission-critical operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct advanced geospatial analysis to support military and intelligence operations.
Develop, interpret, and present geospatial data and intelligence products to stakeholders.
Utilize GIS software and tools to analyze spatial data and generate actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial intelligence into operational planning.
Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing technical guidance and training.
Ensure accuracy and quality of geospatial data and analysis products.
Stay current with emerging geospatial technologies and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Extensive experience as a Geospatial Analyst with a senior-level background.
Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of geospatial data sources, remote sensing, and spatial analysis techniques.
Experience with geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and related analytical tools.
Ability to interpret complex spatial data and communicate findings effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A Top Secret Security clearance is required for eligibility.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related field, or 10 years of military experience in a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in geospatial analysis or related roles with a minimum of 5 years in senior-level roles.
Prior experience supporting military or defense-related projects is a plus.
