The Physical Security Operations Professional will play a critical role in ensuring the security and safety of RTX personnel, assets, and operations. This position will provide leadership and expertise in capital expenditure (CAPEX) management, policy alignment, and workplace safety, while also driving coordination across regional and global teams. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams will be essential to your success. You must also have familiarity with threat and vulnerability assessment methodologies as well as with CAPEX processes, RPLM, and contract management.

What You Will Do
  • CAPEX Management: Support and oversee capital expenditure management processes to ensure alignment with security objectives and budgetary goals.
  • Raytheon Gate Processes (RLPM): Provide guidance and oversight for the Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) Gate Processes to ensure compliance and efficiency in program execution.
  • Contract Management: Manage high-value contracts, ensuring appropriate oversight and alignment with security and financial policies.
  • Workplace Violence & Threat Management: Coordinate and investigate workplace violence reports in collaboration with site-level Threat Working Groups, Crisis Intervention Teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Physical Security Assessments: Manage the Physical Security Assessment Program, ensuring compliance with RTX standards and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with other GSS Cores to address threats and vulnerabilities effectively.
  • Policy & Process Alignment: Ensure alignment of security policies and processes among regional teams to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • GSS Hub Coordination: Partner with Global Security Services (GSS) hubs to coordinate and streamline security operations across regions.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires:A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with Physical Security relating to Security in Depth, NISPOM, ICD705 and/or other government standard relating to physical security protections.
  • Experience coordinating workplace violence prevention programs and threat management initiatives.
  • Experience with CAPEX processes, RLPM, and contract management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, to include advanced MS products such as SharePoint and Power BI.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Profession certifications i.e., Physical Security Professional (PSP), Physical Security Certification (PSC), Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC)
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience with threat and vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, integrated physical security systems and/or ongoing evaluations of security measures

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
