Network Administrator II–III & Network Architect – Government Contract (Air Force)

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Certifications: IAT-II & CCNA (if not obtained, the team will sponsor and pay for it!)
Insight Global is hiring multiple Network Professionals—Network Administrator II, Network Administrator III, and Network Architect—to support the U.S. Air Force’s AFINC (Air Force Intranet Control) cyber defense program. Candidates with 2+, 4+, or 8+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Role Summary
Depending on level, responsibilities include:
Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance
Analyzing network traffic and validating configurations in lab/production environments
Installing, configuring, patching, and hardening routers, switches, load balancers, and serial consoles
Developing or supporting automation scripts
Documenting incidents, changes, and operational activities
Escalating issues appropriately (II → III → Architect)
Experience Levels
Network Administrator II (2+ years)
Supports day‑to‑day network operations
Performs troubleshooting and basic configuration work
Escalates complex issues to senior staff
Network Administrator III (4+ years)
Serves as escalation for mid-level admins
Handles advanced troubleshooting, traffic analysis, and configuration updates
Contributes to automation and process improvement
Network Architect (8+ years)
Leads network design, architecture, and optimization
Handles high-impact escalations and root cause analysis
Develops automation strategies and technical documentation
Requirements (All Levels)
Experience with Enterprise network environments
Understanding of OSPF and common network architectures
High school diploma or equivalent
Active Secret Clearance
IAT-II + CCNA (reimbursement available if obtained pre-start)
