As a Strategic Operations Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide senior-level operational planning, coordination, and advisory support to I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This role supports strategic- and operational-level planning activities, integration across staff sections, and coordination with joint, service, and interagency partners. The position serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring operational initiatives are synchronized, executable, and aligned with higher headquarters guidance.

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level strategic operations support to I MEF leadership and staff.
- Support development, integration, and synchronization of operational plans and initiatives.
- Coordinate strategic operations activities across I MEF staff sections and Major Subordinate Commands.
- Support planning conferences, working groups, and senior-level operational forums.
- Analyze operational requirements, risks, and constraints and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare executive-level briefings, reports, and decision-support products.
- Coordinate with joint, interagency, and service partners as required.
- Track strategic initiatives, milestones, and deliverables to support mission execution.
- Operate independently while providing senior-level judgment and advisory support.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent military experience).
- 10+ years of experience in strategic or operational planning within a DoD environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders and staff-level operations.
- Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently in complex operational environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting MEF-level, Joint, or Combatant Command operations.
- Familiarity with joint planning processes and operational synchronization.
