The Opportunity:
As a Future Operations (TEEP/GFM) Operational Planner you will have the opportunity to provide senior-level planning and analytical support for future operations, training synchronization, and Global Force Management (GFM) activities in support of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This role supports Time-Phased Employment Planning (TEEP), force sourcing, and long-range operational planning, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on future operational requirements and force employment decisions.

The Opportunity:
As a Future Operations (TEEP/GFM) Operational Planner you will have the opportunity to provide senior-level planning and analytical support for future operations, training synchronization, and Global Force Management (GFM) activities in support of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This role supports Time-Phased Employment Planning (TEEP), force sourcing, and long-range operational planning, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on future operational requirements and force employment decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level future operations planning support focused on TEEP and GFM activities.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain time-phased employment plans supporting current and future operations.
- Support force sourcing, allocation, and synchronization efforts in coordination with higher headquarters and supporting agencies.
- Analyze operational requirements and assess force availability, readiness, and risk.
- Prepare senior-level briefings, reports, and recommendations for leadership decision-making.
- Coordinate planning efforts across staff sections, Major Subordinate Commands, and external stakeholders.
- Support planning conferences, working groups, and execution reviews related to future operations.
- Identify planning gaps and develop mitigation strategies to support operational readiness.
- Operate independently while providing senior-level operational planning expertise.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent military experience).
- 10+ years of experience in future operations, operational planning, or force management within a DoD environment.
- Demonstrated experience with TEEP, GFM, or force sourcing processes.
- Strong analytical, planning, and briefing skills.
- Ability to advise senior leaders and operate independently.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting MEF-level or Major Command future operations planning.
- Familiarity with GSAMPS or similar force management systems.
- Prior experience in joint or combined planning environments.
