The Opportunity:
As a PWS Operations Planning and Support Specialist for MEU Operations you will have the opportunity to provide senior-level operational planning and advisory support in direct support of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This position delivers expert guidance to Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Special Purpose MAGTF staffs across the full spectrum of MAGTF, amphibious, and expeditionary operations in support of PWS operational planning requirements. The SME serves as a senior mentor and evaluator, ensuring operational plans, training, and execution are realistic, integrated, and aligned with operational objectives.

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior MEU and MAGTF operations subject matter expert supporting PWS operational planning.
- Provide senior advisory, mentoring, and evaluation support to MEU and SPMAGTF staffs during pre-deployment training cycles.
- Support amphibious, naval, and expeditionary operational planning across the Joint Exercise Lifecycle.
- Advise commanders and senior staffs on operational design, force employment, and mission execution.
- Participate in operational advisory groups, amphibious working groups, and planning conferences.
- Support development, assessment, and refinement of MEU training, evaluation, and certification activities.
- Provide expert input to exercise design, execution, and after-action reviews.
- Represent I MEF in coordination with Fleet, joint, interagency, and coalition partners as required.
- Operate independently while providing senior-level operational judgment and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent military experience).
- 15+ years of experience in MEU, MAGTF, or amphibious operations.
- Extensive experience advising senior commanders and operational staffs.
- Demonstrated background in expeditionary, naval, or special operations environments.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently in complex and sensitive environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Former senior officer experience in MEU, MEB, or MEF operations.
- Experience supporting combat or contingency operations.
- Familiarity with joint, naval, and coalition operational planning.
