The Opportunity:
As a Maritime Preposition Force (MPF) Planner you will have the opportunity to provide senior-level planning and advisory support for maritime prepositioning operations in support of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This role supports operational planning, force sustainment, and deployment readiness by integrating MPF capabilities into operational plans and exercises. The planner serves as a subject matter expert on prepositioning concepts and execution.

The Opportunity:
As a Maritime Preposition Force (MPF) Planner you will have the opportunity to provide senior-level planning and advisory support for maritime prepositioning operations in support of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This role supports operational planning, force sustainment, and deployment readiness by integrating MPF capabilities into operational plans and exercises. The planner serves as a subject matter expert on prepositioning concepts and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level MPF planning support to I MEF staff and leadership.
- Integrate MPF capabilities into operational plans, exercises, and deployment concepts.
- Support planning for force reception, staging, onward movement, and integration (RSOI).
- Coordinate MPF planning efforts with logistics, operations, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in planning conferences, exercises, and operational working groups.
- Analyze MPF readiness, constraints, and risks and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Support development of MPF-related briefings and decision-support products.
- Ensure MPF planning aligns with policy, guidance, and operational requirements.
- Operate independently while providing senior-level planning expertise.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, deployment, or prepositioning planning.
- Experience supporting operational or contingency planning.
- Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills.
- Ability to advise senior leaders and operate independently.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting MPF or large-scale deployment operations.
- Familiarity with Marine Corps or Joint logistics planning processes.
