Waypoint's client is seeking an experienced Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) SME to support the Department of War Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW I&S). This role provides senior-level technical, analytical, and strategic advisory support focused on intelligence architecture, PED policy and capabilities, and enterprise-level alignment across the Department of War and the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support for problem definition, analytical outcomes, requirements development, and implementation of complex intelligence architecture programs and initiatives.
- Serve as a senior PED subject matter expert, advising executive leadership on intelligence and security-related programmatic issues including policy, strategy, operations, security, funding, resourcing, and requirements.
- Assist with planning, directing, and coordinating the development of technical strategies, policies, directives, issuances, and associated materials in support of short-notice decision-making requirements for senior DoW leadership.
- Support Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security with enterprise-level prioritization, tracking, de-confliction, and alignment of Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Military Services, Combat Support Agencies, foreign partner nations, and Intelligence Community stakeholders.
- Provide acquisition synchronization and requirements identification support for infrastructure-related systems, programs, and capabilities.
- Analyze and evaluate large, complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that inform assessments, conclusions, oversight, and executive decision-making.
- Provide technical advice and guidance for the improvement, modification, or re-engineering of business processes, policies, and procedures related to intelligence architecture.
- Develop and integrate staff packages supporting intelligence architecture initiatives across the Department of War, Intelligence Community, and broader War Community.
- Analyze intelligence-related activities against the National War Strategy and the priorities of the Secretary of War and the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security, as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- 10+ years of experience supporting PED-related efforts within the Department of War and/or the Intelligence Community.
- 7+ years of experience with Intelligence Community infrastructure and architecture policy development, program oversight or guidance, capability development, and resourcing within a DoW or IC military or interagency staff environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior-level decision-makers with complex intelligence architecture and PED-related issues.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level briefs and staff packages.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Prior experience supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW I&S).
- Experience working across Department of War and Intelligence Community organizations.
- Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, senior-leader environment.
