The Land and Air Defense (LADS) team at Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) Product Area as the Development Programs Program Integrator (PI), reporting to the Development Program Manager.

In this position, you will serve as a direct report to the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) Development Program Manager. The successful candidate is a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and able to successfully interface with functional and product line leadership. The primary responsibility for this role is to lead and influence cross-functional teams to initiate and manage the setup, development, and implementation of development projects across the MRAD Organization. This position will interface with MRAD IPTs, CPTs, Finance, Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain, Quality and other stake holders to ensure program objectives are achieved. Successful candidates should expect to be immersed in a fast-paced, team-based, and challenging technical environment where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive.

What You Will Do:
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the PM in executing subsets of the program and managing the financial and schedule requirements of all program components
  • Plan, coordinate, and communicate with the integrated product teams and cross functional teams responsible for delivering subsystems, products and services
  • Support earned value management and risk and opportunity management for overall program execution
  • Partner with engineering and program leads for EVMS process inputs, LRE development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly analysis of cost and labor runs
  • Prepare spend plan forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts
  • Update and maintain virtual environments for sharing and storing Development Program documentation
  • Lead identification of key metrics and development of informational charts that provide important information to Product Line leadership
  • Manage requests for information with key internal stakeholders in support of timely responses
  • Support travel as needed
  • Function as the Program Manager (PM) during periods of the PM's absence


You'll also assist the matrixed team with the following responsibilities:
  • Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule/Master Phasing Schedule
  • Program Baselining
  • LRE Management
  • Manpower planning


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Previous experience in the preparation of budgets, schedules, staffing, etc. as required to manage support to programs and initiatives
  • Experience with EVMS including developing input for integrated master schedule and analyzing critical paths
  • Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of Risk Management and other management tools / metrics (APEX, PRISM, PMX)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand program details underway, summarize key concerns, provide corrective action recommendations, and develop action plans


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Ability to manage various tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with integrated product teams, cross functional teams, subcontractors, customers, and other Raytheon organizations
  • Experience with MS Office tools
  • Raytheon PM Level 6 Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience using program management tools such as Raytheon's Program Management Excellence (PMX) tool suite or similar tools
  • Experience developing new program processes and improving existing processes with tangible benefit to the program
  • Experience managing internal research and development efforts
  • Experience with technical accounting and GAAP regulations
  • Agile Software Management experience

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
