Formal Training Requirements Advisor (Senior) - ISR-PED Support

Contract: Intelligence Support and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance - Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (ISR-PED) Support
Location: Hurlburt Field, Florida
Clearance: TS/SCI required

Position Overview

The Formal Training Requirements Advisor provides senior-level administration and management of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) intelligence formal training programs. This role ensures intelligence personnel across officer, enlisted, civilian, and contractor populations are properly scheduled, enrolled, and tracked in required training programs to maintain mission readiness across AFSOC intelligence operations.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities
  • Administer HQ AFSOC/A2 intelligence formal training program scheduling for military, government civilian, and contractor personnel.
  • Coordinate and schedule intelligence personnel attendance at formal military schools, national agency courses, joint-service schools, mobile training teams, and civilian instruction programs.
  • Manage intelligence course quota allocation with Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Combat Command (ACC), Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC).
  • Coordinate officer, enlisted, and civilian quota utilization with the 315th Training Squadron (AETC).
  • Submit and manage the annual Mission Readiness Training Program (MRTP) data call to AFPC and AFSOC Education Operations (A1KE).
  • Serve as registrar for the AFSOF Intelligence Formal Training Unit (AFSOF-IFTU) at Hurlburt Field.
  • Coordinate student enrollment, class scheduling, and training requests, including obtaining Training Line Numbers (TLNs) for AFSOC students.
  • Provide student clearance status to AFSOF-IFTU staff and coordinate SSO read-ins when required.
  • Administer AFSOC/A2 ancillary and computer-based training (CBT) programs, tracking completion across the directorate.
Minimum Qualifications
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience managing formal training programs within the last 12 years.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage training quotas, scheduling, and readiness reporting in a DoD environment.
  • Full understanding of formal training program administration duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 8 additional years of experience managing training programs.
  • Experience supporting Air Force or Special Operations intelligence training environments.
  • Additional experience in training and education program management is highly desired.
