• Job Description
○ Required Skills & Experience
§ 5+ years of experience in project planning and coordination
§ 5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
§ 5+ years of experience in Material estimating
§ 5+ years of experience preparing time, cost, and labor estimates
§ 5+ years of experience with Estimates at Completion, Data Analysis, and/or Budgeting/Cost Performance Reporting

§ Bachelor degree in Construction Management
§ Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), architecture, or construction management
§ Knowledge of tracking and monitoring project costs throughout the construction process
§ Familiarity with current construction methods, materials, and costs
○ Day to Day Responsibilities:
§ Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine the scope of work
§ Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges
§ Research and obtain budgetary estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
§ Prepare detailed cost estimates that include material costs, labor costs, equipment rentals, permits, and overhead
§ Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction process
§ Prepare cost reports and variance analyses to identify cost overruns and implement corrective actions
§ Stay up to date on current construction methods, materials, and costs
§ Update Standard Estimating Tool for use by Project Managers at sites
§ Develop and Lead estimating training for Project Managers and Planners at sites across the enterprise
§ Domestic travel required
