Volt is immediately hiring for Integration & Test Engineer - ENG02–in Aurora, CO.
What are the main functions of this role?
• Integrate, verify, and troubleshoot software/hardware components while developing and executing automated and manual test procedures in an Agile environment.
• Identify and resolve system issues, create test scripts, support CI/CD workflows, and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful system validation..
As a integration & Test Engineer, you will:
• In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
• Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
• Development of automated test scripts and their execution
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Work in an Agile program environment
This is 12 months Full- time- contract with possible hire opportunity.
Clearance required : Active TS/SCI
The ideal candidate will have:
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience in systems integration and test, including automation, scripting, and debugging in Linux-based environments.
• They will be comfortable working in Agile teams, supporting CI/CD workflows, and resolving complex technical issues.
• Experience with satellite ground systems, test automation tools, and Atlassian products is a plus.
Required Skills:
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience
• Experience with systems integration and test for a software product, in an Agile, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
• Experience with hands-on Integration and Test engineering
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product
• Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, or Perl
Preferred :
• Experience working within a CI/CD environment Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
• Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux operating system, Cloud environments Good oral and written communication skills as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Pay Range: $55.00 - $ 60.00 per hour.
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
