Summary

Key responsibilities include providing operations and maintenance support for hosting platform solutions, conducting root cause analysis of system performance and operational issues, and monitoring system performance to identify areas of improvement. The role requires performing vulnerability scanning, supporting RMF or similar accreditation frameworks, and deploying custom infrastructure as code using DevOps tools. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and providing emergency after-hours engineering support as needed.Experience Level

Required Skills
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with system hardening, patch management, and configuration management tools
- Experience with RMF or other accreditation frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53B)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Rapid 7), SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), and endpoint protection
- Experience with patching and routine platform reboots
- Ability to work in a high-profile fast-paced environment
- Ability to deploy custom infrastructure as code using DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, PowerShell
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Optional Skills
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, GSEC, or Cloud Security certifications
- Experience working in air-gapped environments or with classified systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in sprint-based development cycles

- Knowledge of zero trust architecture and identity/access management strategies

| PTO | 30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays. |
