Peregrine is a pioneer within the cybersecurity industrial control systems and the Internet of Things, supporting many federal and commercial customers. Peregrine's experienced staff knows the cybersecurity and operational technology environment and provides these capabilities for our customers daily.

Summary:

Peregrine is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer with experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) in Denver, CO to work on DoD systems. Up to 50% travel may be expected.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results
  • Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written
  • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to the environment
  • In-depth understanding of databases, APIs, middleware, and data integration techniques
  • Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective application solutions
  • Knowledge of application security principles, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and technical communication skills, including the ability to support and advise stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline
  • Seven years of specialized experience in Building Automation Systems
  • Alternative experience requirements: Master's degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline and five years of specialized experience
  • An Active Secret Security Clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • GICSP certification or equivalent


Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000.
