Position Summary
Akamai-Intelligence has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Control Specialist. Akamai-Intelligence is an IT services provider and solutions integrator supporting the Federal Government and Department of Defense. This full-time position is located in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The Quality Control Specialist will recommend and implement changes to the existing quality system related to nonconforming product, corrective and preventive actions, document control, quality control inspections, product release, internal audits, and validations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the quality of site installation activities to ensure required processes and standards are followed.
Oversee the Engineering Implementation Plan process to ensure quality site implementation.
Apply analytical skills to identify, analyze, and correct quality problem areas.
Make recommendations to Quality Control Managers, Training Managers, or Project Managers to improve processes or amend contractual deliverables.
Maintain program and company quality standards.
Review quality processes and systems on an ongoing basis to identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Four (4) to seven (7) years of relevant quality control or quality assurance experience.
