Diagnose and resolve issues related to copper cabling, wireless connectivity, and network hardware; perform scheduled maintenance and respond to service calls.
Accurately document installation work, including cable layouts, equipment configurations, test results, and as-built drawings for compliance and security audits.
Interface with customers onsite to understand requirements, provide project updates, and deliver user training while adhering to secure-site communication protocols.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to meet timelines, quality standards, and DoD security requirements.
Follow all company, industry, and government safety policies, including ladder safety, confined space entry, and proper use of PPE.
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of hands-on experience in CAT5e/CAT6 network cabling installation.
Demonstrated success delivering Wi-Fi projects, including site surveys, access point installation, and performance testing.
Ability to work at Department of Defense (DoD) bases and other secure government facilities.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
