Required Skills & Experience
-7+ years experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
-Deep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations is required and Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired.
-High school diploma or equivalent
-IAT-II Certification
-TS/ SCI Eligible
- CCNA or CCNP
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, CCIE Service Provider, or CCIE Data Center CCIE Collaboration certifications
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for Network Administrators for a government contract. These individuals will be working on a military base doing all network and system support for all of the Air Force. The day to day is as follows: -Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments. -Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads. -Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible. -Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re-work or for auditing/investigation purposes. -Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves. -Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
Compensation: $39/hr. to $47/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this
role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the
applicable law of the worksite location.
