Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited U.S. College/University.
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Highly experienced with/in:
- Review customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment per ASC606 checklist.
- Maintain purchase accounting workbooks for small acquisitions, as needed.
- Initiate research of revenue technical topics, and draft supporting policies, procedures, white papers.
- Prepare, review and explain assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end/year-end closings to include accruals and month closing entries.
- Analyze financial statements and perform monthly Balance Sheet and P&L trend analysis.
- Provide technical accounting and reporting research and guidance for financial transactions.
- Participation in process improvement initiatives and workflows, including developing and monitoring compliance with corporation accounting and reporting policies.
- Writing white papers and memos as needed.
- Support adhoc projects.
- Microsoft Office; specifically, the use of pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, and additional calculations/tools within Excel.
- Deltek Costpoint experience is preferred.
- Possess strong attention to detail, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced compliance-driven environment.
