Peerless Technologies is seeking an experienced B-52 Scheduler/Program Manager Subject Matter Expert to support the Fighter/Bomber Crosscutter Program, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH, with indirect support to B-52 program elements at Tinker AFB (TAFB), OK. This position will provide subject matter expertise for program management across a geographically-challenged B-52 life cycle management enterprise and provide vital assistance to the IPT Lead and the Government CO in executing the contracting effort and facilitating the successful resolution of various program initiatives.
Independently provide subject matter expertise to various project/program initiatives to effectively assist the Government in delivery and sustainment of warfighting capabilities in support of the B-52 programs at WPAFB and TAFB., evaluate, or recommend solutions for project/program efforts.
Provide Scheduling and MS Project expertise in order to assist B-52 with developing and maintaining the B-52 Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), as well as being proficient in the standard Microsoft Office toolset, including additional schedule assessment tools, acquisition strategy planning and documentation, and Earned Value Management (EVM) assessment tools.
Provide subject matter expertise to various acquisition initiatives, specifically of B-52 programs, such as acquisition management, program management, contracting principles, budget/finance/cost estimation principles and methodologies, test and deployment, Configuration Management, production and manufacturing, logistics, systems security engineering, and operational support planning.
Conduct cross-organizational/functional communication gaining stakeholder interest, involvement, and acceptance to complete the mission without the customary single geographically located dedicated team. The support objective is expert level management that will result in a seamless transition of information and contractual decision-making to achieve program goals.
Review and analyze Prime and subcontractor EVM performance, develop pre-and post-award documentation and briefings, perform milestone planning, integrated master schedule analysis, risk analysis and mitigation, tracking, scheduling and staff coordination that require knowledge and use of multiple data systems.
Provide the expertise necessary to support the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, as well as be knowledgeable in complying with the requirements of DoD acquisition program documentation and directives.
Qualifications:
*Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Science (MS)) and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD; OR, BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD; OR, twenty (20) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described, eight of which must be in the DoD.
*In addition/concurrent with the general experience requirements above, a minimum of fifteen (15) years of direct experience in acquisition and management of aircraft weapons systems and hold at least a degree (Masters preferred) in a related field such as systems engineering, program management or logistics.
*MS Project experience is a must; this position will be responsible for development and maintenance of the B-52 IMS for various Modernization efforts
*Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to gain SAP eligibility if required
