This role serves as a critical link between engineering teams, test organizations, and senior Army stakeholders, ensuring systems meet operational, regulatory, and performance requirements throughout the test lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate across PEO Fires, IFD/USG, and the Army test community to identify, plan, and execute all required test and regulatory activities in accordance with approved test plans and procedures.
- Develop and complete requirements verification and validation (V&V) documentation, test reports, and supporting artifacts.
- Create comprehensive test plans and detailed, step-by-step test procedures aligned to system requirements and operational objectives.
- Support the Test Director in planning and executing highly complex system and subsystem tests.
- Analyze test data to verify compliance with customer requirements and determine overall system performance and mission effectiveness.
- Identify deficiencies, develop mitigation strategies, and track corrective actions to closure.
- Provide timely status updates, metrics, and periodic reports on assigned projects to government leadership.
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to formulate, refine, and coordinate customer and system requirements.
- Develop and deliver technical briefings to senior government and program stakeholders across all phases of the acquisition and test lifecycle.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of mission objectives.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience in test, systems engineering, or related technical fields.
- Must currently hold an active and transferable DoD Secret clearance with a current investigation.
- Demonstrated experience performing testing and evaluation (T&E) of U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, schedule-driven environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) system capabilities and requirements processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Army test planning, test processes, and execution methodologies.
- Familiarity with Integrated Battle Command Station (IBCS) architecture and interoperability.
- Experience supporting programs within PEO Fires or Integrated Fires Directorate environments.
- Proficiency with Windows-based tools including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
