Duties
As a READINESS TECHNICIAN - Title 32, GS-0303-8, you will provide technical expertise and guidance for all military personnel assigned in the HSC 157th MEB. You will be primarily responsible for managing and processing a wide array of personnel actions, including promotions, awards, evaluations, reassignments, separations, and disciplinary actions. Operating and managing various human resources information systems, such as the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A), and ensuring the accuracy of data within these systems.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS :
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Conditions of Employment:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : To qualify for the GS-0303-07 level, applicant must have at least 18 months experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or laws. Experience that provided a thorough knowledge of administrative functions. Experience utilizing research tools. Experience providing guidance and setting priorities.
