The Security Specialist, with the guidance of the Director of Security will be responsible for oversight of Equipment Redistribution & Divestiture (ERDS) at three Army Continuous Transformation (CT) focused locations: Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, and Fort Carson, as well as 11 Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS) locations during fly-away missions. The Security Specialist works with the security team to include processing and maintaining security clearances; management of personnel security records; and classified contracts records to ensure that we are compliant with all government regulations as well as meeting the requirements under 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
Administers DOD, industrial security programs and security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Develop and implement security procedures and policies in coordination with government agencies and management personnel and clearance documentation. Investigates, prepares, and submits incident reports as required. Provides technical and physical support for high security areas, security equipment, and security systems. Investigates security violations and recommends corrective actions. Maintains liaison with outside agencies. Maintains access control and surveillance of facilities across the focus and MET sites of the contract.
Knowledge of DOD, Army Regulations (AR), industrial security programs and in-depth knowledge of the DOD and government security regulatory manuals. Performs work under direct supervision and able to handle basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Responsibilities
- Will be the primary POC for the PMO office to include contract team coordination for personnel security functions with focused locations.
- Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, and Fort Carson, as well as 11 CONUS and OCONUS locations during MET missions.
- Daily use of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to facilitate visit requests; verification of clearances; reference records to confirm data to be entered into the ASC G2 system and other actions processed in this system.
- Daily use of ASC G2 system to enter requests for CACs and manage additional information as required. Review/submittal of SF85s and fingerprints will be required.
- Completes/submits access forms; revalidation forms; CAC request (TASS/TARR) forms; and any other customer required forms.
- Establish and maintain Occupational Reliability Program (ORP) in accordance with appropriate local guidance, Federal laws, and Army guidance (e.g., AR 190-11 for arms, ammunition and explosives).
- Travel will be 25% to focus and MET sites to ensure compliance of Arms Storage Facilities are within AR 710-4, AR 710-2, and Appendix D of AR 190-51 (Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition and Explosives) per the ERDS Performance Work Statement.

Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 1- 2 years' experience as a federal contractor providing industrial and information security support for government customers.
- An active Secret clearance is required.
- Must have proven ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment with little supervision.
- Must have professional communication skills.
- Must be able to ass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
