As a Multimedia Content Creator, you will produce high-quality visual and written content while managing USCENTCOM’s social media presence. Your work will directly support command messaging, amplify operational narratives, and ensure content is optimized, repurposed, and delivered effectively across platforms to maximize audience engagement and impact.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling
Capture, edit, and produce high-quality photo, video, and multimedia content depicting command activities, exercises, operations, and engagements.
Develop compelling feature stories, articles, captions, and short-form narratives written in AP Style for USCENTCOM digital platforms.
Ensure all content aligns with command messaging, communication objectives, and brand standards.
Repurpose content across platforms to maximize reach, engagement, and audience relevance.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a strategic content calendar across USCENTCOM’s digital and social media platforms.
Schedule and publish content to maintain consistent, timely, and impactful engagement.
Support partnerships and collaborations that enhance USCENTCOM’s digital footprint and storytelling reach.
Analytics & Optimization
Monitor and track key performance indicators including engagement, reach, impressions, shares, and audience growth.
Analyze performance data to evaluate content effectiveness and identify trends.
Apply data-driven insights to refine creative approaches and continuously improve content strategy.
Operational & Crisis Support
Operate effectively in high-tempo and crisis communication environments, supporting rapid content development and dissemination.
Be available for 24/7 surge support as required to support emerging events or operational priorities.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in digital content creation, multimedia storytelling, or social media management.
Proficiency with industry-standard content creation tools, including:
Adobe Creative Suite
Video editing software
Professional photography and videography equipment
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, visual storytelling, and engagement best practices.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently while collaborating with public affairs and operational teams.
Experience supporting communications in high-visibility, time-sensitive, or crisis environments.
