Key Responsibilities
The Program Manager, SME will:
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of BMC3I Elite platform initiatives and enhancements
- Develop and manage program road maps, schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and ITSM standards
- Serve as the primary liaison between leadership, technical teams, vendors, and end users
- Translate business requirements into actionable program deliverables and solutions
- Oversee configuration, integration, and optimization of BMC3I Elite capabilities
- Support automation, workflow improvements, and digital transformation efforts
- Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and issue/risk mitigation processes
- Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and high performance
- Deliver executive-level briefings, updates, and decision-support materials
Responsibilities
Skills & Experience
The Program Manager, SME must have:
- Active TS/SCI with SAP Access
- 15+ years of experience managing complex IT or enterprise programs
- 15+ years in defense acquisition
- Proven experience with BMC3I Elite, BMC3I Helix, or comparable ITSM/ESM platforms
- Strong background in Agile, Hybrid, and/or Waterfall program execution
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale integrations, platform upgrades, and service delivery initiatives
- Understanding of ITIL processes, ITSM best practices, automation, and workflow tools
- Familiarity with enterprise cloud environments, service operations, and incident/change management
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams across multiple technical disciplines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Experience with vendor oversight, performance management, and contract administration
- Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics
Education & Certifications
The Program Manager, SME must meet the following:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
- Master's degree (MBA, MIS, MPM, or related)
- DAWIA Level II
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP
- BMC3I Elite/BMC3I Helix Administrator or Specialist certifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt
