The Opportunity:

CACI has established and upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement CJTF HOA/AFRICOM's mission objectives . CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, System Administrator . This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, CJTF-HOA located OCONUS in DJIBOUTI, Africa . This position is required to travel OCONUS .

Responsibilities:
  • The System Administrator (SA) will be responsible for supporting Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Active Directory enterprise network.
  • The SA will be expected to have a strong troubleshooting background, analyzing system faults and diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware with minimal supervision.
  • Will review and prepare system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP), and systems service diagrams.
  • Experience d with Windows and RHEL operating systems and their services within a Cisco UCS / FlexPod environment.
  • The SA will be able to manage, monitor , and troubleshoot guest operating systems on VMware vSphere environments.
  • Responsible for application of STIGs on Windows/Linu x environments, ensuring system hardening, remediation, and checklist documentation of all servers.
  • The candidate will have experience and knowledge of Active Directory administration .
  • Manages on-premises file share services within a NetApp CIFS environment.
  • Supports the management of DDI (DHCP, DNS, and IPAM) within an Infoblox architecture .
  • Create s and develop s automation scripts to ease the management of routine tasks f or both user s, workstations, and servers.
  • A dministration and m anagement of the SolarWinds network monitoring platform.
  • The ideal candidate will possess customer-facing skills with the ability to document and brief systems and services in a clear and professional manner. This includes a demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete operational and service delivery objectives .
  • T he SA will provide remote support and/or travel to customer servers and sites as required .
  • Administers systems/environment solutions for multiple projects with varying schedules. Supports the planning of system/environment requirements for individual projects.
  • The candidate will have experience maintaining and supporting network devices consisting of primarily Cisco routers and switches.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain
  • BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or recent Azure Administrator Associate/Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater)


Desired:

  • ITIL v3 - Foundation
  • Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
  • Experience with Microsoft MECM
  • Experience with VMware vSphere administration
  • Experience with NetApp storage (SAN/NAS)
  • Experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) environments
