EXPANSIA is excited to design, implement, and mature a secure, scalable Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) that enables Digital Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) integration across the developing US Hypersonic enterprise and industrial base. Located at the new aerospace research and test complex, this facility is poised to become the nation's premier hub for hypersonic system research, modeling & simulation, and test capabilities.
As a Cloud Architect V, you will be responsible for deploying and overseeing the company's cloud computing strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. You will oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud environments, setting up all components required for successful cloud computing. Your role involves creating cloud networks by connecting remotely located servers, establishing front- and back-end platforms, and developing an operational cloud-based delivery system. Additionally, you will set up cloud storage and computing systems from scratch, ensuring compliance with security policies, managing systems, and making necessary updates. You will lead and execute with a cloud-first mindset, helping customers realize the benefits of an Oracle cloud-based architecture. In this role, you will contribute to and drive large Oracle X-LOB deals, including Oracle IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services. You will work in collaboration with local account teams, Global Client Advisors, and Key Account Directors while engaging with various customer roles, from CIOs and CTOs to IT architects and business representatives. You will be responsible for articulating the case for change, leading detailed discovery analyses, and conducting repeatable strategy, architecture, roadmap, and planning workshops
The proposed salary range for this position is $157,285-$196,609. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support to operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions
- Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded
- Identify and forward to leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area
- Participate in growth efforts as requested
- Ensure all contractual deliverables are met or exceeded to the customer's satisfaction
- Complete personal PDP and attend staff meetings and Storytime (with the camera on)
- Build productive and positive professional relationships with clients within your program
- Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements
- Lead and execute cloud-first strategies, ensuring seamless cloud architecture implementation
- Oversee and implement cloud application design, cloud adoption plans, and cloud monitoring strategies
- Establish cloud storage and computing systems while ensuring compliance with industry security and regulatory policies
- Manage and update cloud computing systems as needed, optimizing performance and security
- Lead and contribute to Oracle X-LOB deals involving Oracle IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services
- Collaborate with local account teams, Global Client Advisors, and Key Account Directors to drive cloud adoption
- Engage with customer stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, IT architects, technical staff, and business representatives
- Conduct detailed discovery analyses and provide assessments of current state architecture with recommendations for future state architecture
- Lead consultative selling efforts, including working with domain architects, sales consulting teams, and business analysts
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Clearance: Secret clearance
- Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 10 - 12 years of experience or a Master's degree with 8 - 10 years of experience
- Recognized authority within the company, working on complex technical problems and providing highly innovative solutions
- Expertise in cloud computing, including cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management
- Proven ability to develop cloud networks by connecting remotely located servers and establishing front- and back-end platforms
- Experience setting up cloud storage and computing systems from scratch while maintaining compliance with security policies
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders
- Ability to conduct repeatable strategy, architecture, roadmap, and planning workshop
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience contributing to and driving Oracle X-LOB deals, including Oracle IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services
- Familiarity with consultative selling and engagement with technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to assess current state architectures and provide strategic recommendations for future state architectures
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
