Step into a high-impact training role shaping how Marine Corps intelligence teams prepare for real-world missions. You’ll deliver engaging intel instruction, modernize course content based on operational needs, and help ensure training outcomes translate directly to tactical readiness.
What you’ll do
Lead hands-on intelligence instruction for MCIS RITC audiences, blending classroom teaching with field-oriented training events
Translate operating force requirements into updated lesson plans, scenarios, and training products
Partner with RITC leadership to plan, schedule, and execute training deliveries across supported locations
Diagnose training gaps from operational units and recommend practical improvements
Support training evaluation efforts by capturing feedback, measuring effectiveness, and driving continuous refinement
Engage directly with unit intelligence leaders to align training objectives, timelines, and delivery approach
Use scenario-driven methods, including techniques that reflect CI/HUMINT-style problem sets when applicable
Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of intelligence experience, or 12+ years of intelligence experience in lieu of a degree
Strong Marine Corps intelligence experience, including company-level intelligence, collections management, and intelligence analysis methodologies
Working knowledge of Marine Corps formal instruction processes and the Systems Approach to Training (SAT)
Proven ability to deliver instructor-led training and facilitate both classroom and field-based learning
Demonstrated ability to identify training deficiencies and contribute to development and implementation of training solutions
Understanding of sustainment training concepts and Marine Corps mission readiness exercises
Familiarity with multiple instructional methods that simulate real-world counterintelligence and human intelligence environments
Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
