Senior Systems Engineer with Poly

Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with an active TS/SCI Poly to join and assist and meet mission needs for our government customers. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location.

What you will do

• Monitor customer's Risk Management Framework and related systems to ensure optimized performance and security
• Support patching, upgrading, and migrating of Linux systems and VMs.
• Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes.
• Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers

What you need to have

• Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of SE experience
• Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 2 years Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
• VM experience
• Security+ cert
