Titan Technologies is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer who can help analyze cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with applicable security controls and implement necessary changes individually or as part of a team.

Job description

The Cloud Security Engineer provides internal cybersecurity support to the Cloud Architects team, with a primary focus on securing and maintaining the organization's cloud and enterprise environments. This role is responsible for reviewing the company's internal security posture, building and maintaining log analytics dashboards using KQL, and ensuring ongoing patch compliance across systems. The analyst works closely with cloud architects, engineering, and security stakeholders to strengthen visibility, reduce risk, and continuously evolve the organization's cybersecurity posture.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance Microsoft Sentinel dashboards, including adding new analytics, detections, and functionality using KQL.
  • Review and assess the organization's internal security posture, identifying gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Work with Qualys VMDR to support threat and vulnerability management, including vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
  • Partner with Intune to enforce security baselines, configuration standards, and endpoint compliance.
  • Vet, evaluate, and recommend new security tools and technologies to help evolve and mature the organization's security capabilities.
  • Support security documentation, reporting, and compliance-related activities as needed.
  • Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices relevant to cloud environments.

You MUST have:
  • Hands-on experience with KQL and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Experience using Qualys VMDR for vulnerability and threat management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, including security baselines and endpoint management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, logging, monitoring, and compliance.
  • A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.

It's GREAT if you also have:
  • Qualys certifications.
  • CMMC-related certifications or experience supporting CMMC compliance efforts.
  • Experience creating, updating, and reviewing System Security Plans (SSPs).
  • Experience performing SSP reviews and supporting compliance or audit activities.

Education:
  • Masters in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance with 2+ years of prior relevant experience, or BS in Computer Science, with 4+ years of prior relevant experience.
