System Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a System Engineer who enjoys working across the full system engineering lifecycle-from concept and design to integration, documentation, and delivery. In this role, you'll help shape and refine system architectures, produce clear technical documentation and drawings, and support a mission‑focused team that collaborates closely with users, customers, and partner teams. If you're adaptable, curious, and ready to contribute to meaningful mission work, this role offers a strong blend of technical challenge and teamwork.

What You'll Work On

• Supporting all phases of the system engineering lifecycle
• Designing, modifying, and documenting system architectures
• Producing technical documentation and drawing packages
• Integrating hardware and software components
• Working across both Windows and Linux environments
• Performing basic system administration tasks
• Collaborating with a small, mission‑driven team and engaging with customers and partner teams

What You Bring

• Strong system engineering experience, including documentation and architectural design
• Experience with hardware and software integration
• Comfort working in both Windows and Linux environments
• Experience using Visio or similar diagramming/drawing tools
• Basic system administration skills
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and support a mission‑focused environment

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices
• Experience with Ansible or scripting for automation
