Responsibilities
- Escort authorized visitors, contractors, and vendors within secured or restricted areas at all times
- Verify visitor credentials, access authorization, and escort requirements prior to entry
- Ensure escorted individuals comply with all site security, safety, and operational policies
- Monitor escorted personnel to prevent unauthorized access, data exposure, or safety hazards
- Maintain accurate escort logs, entry/exit records, and activity reports
- Communicate effectively with security personnel, supervisors, and site staff
- Respond appropriately to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies and report issues immediately
- Maintain situational awareness and identify suspicious behavior or policy violations
- Support emergency evacuations and safety procedures when required
Qualifications
- SECRET security clearance required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0-2 years Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Ability to remain outdoors for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-security or fast-paced environments
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs if required
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
