TQI Solutions is looking for a Management Consultant to join our OPNAV Audit Team at the Pentagon. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position supporting critical Department of the Navy initiatives. The right candidate will bring strategic insight, audit experience, and a collaborative mindset to help strengthen accountability, transparency, and mission performance across Navy programs.
Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic, objective advisory support to improve organizational performance and productivity.
• Support audit efforts for Transportation of Things, Ordnance, OM&S Remainder, and other segments identified by the OPNAV N4 Audit Program Management Office.
• Work closely with OPNAV N4 audit stakeholders to understand business transactions, accounting flows, and associated internal controls.
• Research and analyze organizational procedures, identify areas for process improvement, and recommend actionable strategies to increase efficiency.
• Ensure stakeholders formally address Notices of Findings and Recommendations and prepare Corrective Action Plans to resolve identified issues.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement management initiatives and monitor outcomes.
Salary Range $80k - $110K DOE.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in program management or military service, and a master's degree in business or a related field. Candidates with a bachelor's degree may substitute an additional four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience auditing major federal programs, ideally within the Department of Defense and with an emphasis on logistics.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment supporting senior-level DoD stakeholders.
The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
