Position Summary
The Logistics Management Specialist will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions of the organization's systems. This position will support multiple system and represent the organization's and works with other directorates, external agencies and partners in coordinating, collaborating, and managing new and current logistic requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, monitor, evaluate, and coordinate Integrated Product Support Elements plan implementation.
• Performs developmental assignments in life cycle logistics management, planning, operational program analysis, and coordination of system or subsystem.
• Performs recurring assignments designed to independently performs work assignments which gradually increase in difficulty and complexity.
• Prepares written correspondence and other documentation, drafts or prepares a variety of documents to include, but not limited to, independent logistics assessment, life-cycle sustainment plan, product support, product support strategy, and other related documents.
• Serves as logistics analyst and technical expert for logistics system requirements and operational capabilities.
• Recommends and formulates logistics systems policies and procedures for developing operations plans that support contingency operations and exercises in the AOR and other countries of interest to the organization.
• Prepares logistics systems programming documentation related to funding programs, coordinates the programming of automation resources with functional managers, and assesses programs against current operations and emerging requirements to ensure balanced outcomes.
• Assess the logistics impact of acquisition programs, identify overall logistics tasks to be performed and takes actions to meet requirements.
• Analyze and forecast requirements for materials
• Make recommendation to buy or repair individual items to fill future requirements
• Coordinate and oversee distribution of new equipment to USCYBERCOM units worldwide
• Plan, program and budget to support USCYBERCOM requirements
• Write or implement regulations for procedures for management of USCYBERCOM items of supply
Travel: CONUS and OCONUS
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in logistics management or life-cycle logistics, including DoD or IC program support
• Strong technical writing skills and experience producing formal logistics documentation
• Experience supporting acquisition programs and assessing logistics impacts
• Experience with logistics planning, programming, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
