The Opportunity:
Join CACI as a Lead Operations Manager. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of operations and maintenance including the Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Manage information technology projects, resources, schedules, and performance including identifying, managing, resolving/mitigating operational issues and risks
- Develop department policies, process and procedures documentation and provide internal training
- Certify business continuity and disaster recovery efforts
- Manage resources, identify staffing gaps and conduct performance and training assessments
- Evaluate and assess strategic solutions that leverage new and emerging technologies that drive process automation and improve effectiveness
- Prepare management reports that include operational/performance metrics
- Oversee device and password management, data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization, firewalls)
- Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via the NOC
- Manage vendor contracts
- Facilitate contract transition-in and close-out transition activities as needed
- Experience managing ITSM O&M services in an IC environment
- Manage high performing and reliable enterprise telecommunications networks
- Typically manages a small to mid-size sub-function for a program or a large project
- Own the execution of strategy and the operational direction of the sub-function or project
- Problems faced may be difficult to moderately complex
- Influences others outside of own program or project regarding policies, practices and procedures
- Responsible for ongoing performance of the program or project after production
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum TS/SCI with ability to obtain a polygraph
- DOD 8570 IAT II- compliant
- BA/BS & 10 years of relevant experience (Additional 4 years of relevant experience can be substituted for a degree).
Desired:
- 4+ years' experience supporting DIA
