Nightwing is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex, mission-critical software systems. In this role, you'll operate with a high degree of autonomy, tackle high-visibility challenges, and help shape solutions that directly support critical operations.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of sophisticated software systems supporting mission-critical programs.
- Apply advanced software engineering principles and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
- Work independently on complex functional tasks while contributing to the overall technical direction of the program.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet technical, functional, and security requirements across the full development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers and, when assigned, overseeing the work of staff supporting specific initiatives.
- Support high-visibility efforts where reliability, performance, and security are paramount.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, or a qualifying substitution as defined by program guidelines.
- Current TS/SCI CI Poly
- IAT Level II certification compliance (required).
- Proven experience delivering complex systems in environments with stringent security and operational requirements.
- Strong ability to work independently while influencing team success and technical outcomes.
