Position closes 1/7/26 -Software/Cloud Engineering/ We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager or Project Manager SME with deep expertise in software development and cloud engineering to lead highly complex, mission-critical projects. This role requires more than just process management; you will act as a bridge between engineering teams and stakeholders, leveraging your technical background to drive scope clarity, mitigate technical risks, and optimize delivery within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Lead Agile Ceremonies: Act as the Scrum Master or lead Project Manager for multiple development teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).

Backlog Management: Work closely with Product Owners and engineering leads to groom the product backlog, define acceptance criteria, and ensure stories are clearly articulated and ready for development.

Risk & Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify and remove technical and organizational impediments blocking the team's progress. Anticipate and manage project risks related to integration, architecture, and deployment within a highly regulated cloud environment.

Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, cycle time) to provide transparent and accurate status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Developmental (0-2 years' experience)
• Full Performance (3-5 years' experience)
• Senior (6-10 years' experience)
• Expert (11-15 years' experience)
• SME (16+ years' experience)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related highly technical field.

7+ years of progressive experience in technical project management, with at least 4 years specifically managing large-scale software development projects.

Expertise in Agile/Scrum: Proven ability to lead and coach teams in a true Agile environment. Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced Scrum/Agile certification is required.

Deep Technical Proficiency: Strong conceptual understanding of:

Multiple programming paradigms (e.g., JAVA, C++, .NET, JavaScript).

Operating system environments (Windows and Unix/Linux).

DevOps principles and toolchains.

Cloud Experience: Strong practical experience with cloud development and deployment methodologies, specifically in a highly regulated or security-focused environment.

Tools: Expert proficiency with JIRA for task management, tracking, and reporting.

Optional Requirements:

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Proven experience translating complex regulatory or security policies into executable technical requirements and user stories.

Familiarity with legacy systems like Lotus Notes is a plus, indicating experience with system modernization and migration projects.
