Position closes 1/7/26 - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our diverse application portfolio, spanning desktop, web, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in various programming languages, automation tools, and DevOps practices to implement comprehensive testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Strategy and Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and quality assurance processes for applications across multiple platforms.
Automated Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Automated Testing Tools for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Application Testing:
Perform rigorous testing on applications developed using Microsoft Desktop and Web Programming technologies, including C, C++, Visual Basic, and .NET (for MS Office and MS Web Office).
Test backend logic and services developed with Java and/or Python.
Validate classification tools that use scripts and web services.
Web and UI Testing:
Execute testing for Web Application Programming and user interfaces developed with JavaScript Programming, HTML, Lotus Notes, and CSS to ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal user experience.
Environment Validation (DevOps/Cloud):
Collaborate with the DevOps and engineering teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless deployment to cloud development and traditional environments.

Automated Testing Mastery: Expert knowledge and strong hands-on experience utilizing and maintaining Automated Testing Tools and frameworks.
Programming for Testing: Demonstrated expertise in multiple programming and testing languages required for writing effective test harnesses, mocks, and performing white-box testing, including: Lotus Notes, JavaScript, JAVA, C, C++, .NET, HTML, and XML.
Platform Experience: Strong experience testing applications across different operating systems (Windows or Unix/Linux) and environments.
Web and Office Testing: Strong experience testing solutions for MS Office, email, and general web development.
DevOps Integration: Strong experience incorporating testing into DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Cloud Testing: Strong experience with testing applications and infrastructure within a cloud development environment.
Optional Requirements:
Classification Systems Testing: Experience managing and developing testing strategies for classification marking tools/software.
Operational Familiarity: Experience testing in the sponsor's standard operational environment, including familiarity with desktops, servers, and peripherals.
