Responsibilities
- Resolve customer questions and issues related to Information Technology (IT).
- Provide technical assistance to minimize disruptions to computer operations.
- Maintain documentation and track metrics for all requests, monitored weekly by the customer.
- Assess problems involving hardware, software, and communications, taking appropriate action or escalating to higher-level IT staff per organizational IT policies or test mission requirements.
- Provide users with feedback, updates, and status on their requests according to local procedures and customer direction.
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Active DoD 8570 baseline IAT Level I certification (such as A+, Network+, CCNA- Security, SSCP, CND).
- Relevant education/IT experience requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED: 1 year of experience
- Associate's Degree: Experience not required
- Experience in deploying IT hardware such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, monitors and printers.
- Experience configuring IT hardware to resolve problems and installing/configuring operating system images and specialty software on customer devices.
