Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience developing Chemical Biological Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) deliberate plans, policies, agreements, and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUS) as they pertain to the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and associated agencies. Refine CBRN doctrine and policy and deliberate plans in support of mission requirements. Provide consultation to the Joint, Interagency, Inter-governmental and Multinational CBRN community.
Some positions allow education as a substitution, this position is based on experience only.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

- Develop CBRN Policy.
- Serve as training program manager.
- Perform duties as Unit Radiation Protection officer.
- Maintain a current listing of all radioactive items and sources with the unit inventory.
