Responsibilities
- Supervises aircraft maintenance activities for three phase bays.
- Assigns tasks associated with aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to plan, manage and direct a team in the performance of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification.
- Supervises three Aircraft Mechanic 2s and their assigned teams.
- Receives and reviews requests for maintenance and prioritizes maintenance activities based on production control requirements.
- Monitors schedule performance and ensure all inspections, repairs, and component changes are accomplished at the designated milestone.
- Maintains records and documentation related to maintenance events.
- Will be involved in personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions of subordinate employees.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Previous leadership experience in aviation maintenance.
- 10 years' experience in aviation maintenance.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Well versed with Microsoft Office products.
- Solid knowledge of ACN, HYDRA, and aircraft forms and records process.
- Specific knowledge of MH-60M platform.
- Prior SOF Community experience beneficial.
