The Opportunity:
- The Engineering Manager will support the Program Manager in leading the GEOINT Tradecraft Suite (GTS), a high-visibility modernization effort.
- Help drive execution across multiple engineering teams, ensuring priorities and milestones stay aligned.
- Serve as a key liaison with government stakeholders, translating mission needs into actionable plans.
- Strengthen program operations, communication flow, and day-to-day coordination across the contract.
- Provide leadership continuity by acting as the PM's primary delegate when required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across GTS engineering, DevOps, and testing teams.
- Support schedule planning, milestone tracking, and sprint alignment.
- Prepare and deliver program reports, briefings, and stakeholder updates.
- Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Support staffing efforts, onboarding, and team coordination activities.
- Maintain contract compliance, including deliverables, quality standards, and documentation.
- Coordinate cross-program integration with related NGA mission partners and modernization efforts.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in either Systems Engineering, Testing or DevOps
- Current TS/SCI clearance and polygraph preferred
- Strong working knowledge of The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, its mission, and its operational nuances.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and multi-team coordination.
- Excellent communication and briefing skills.
- Experience managing schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to drive structure, organization, and clarity across complex programs.
Desired:
- University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10+ years of related experience
- Experience supporting GEOINT or similar intelligence mission programs
- Familiarity with cross-domain solution development
- Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud environments
- PMP, SAFe, or similar certification
